I suck! I said I’d keep the good ole blog updated and then I went and fell off the side of earth. I really need to get back into my blogging habits! Since facebook came around it’s so much easier to post on my facebook fanpage … but then you wonder … is anyone even looking at it?? LOL Who knows, but in any case I need to keep the blog updated or it becomes so boring. I don’t want to be boring!!
I purchased this pale pink dress from ebay, it’s a vintage little girls dress and I loved the look. The second Madison put it on I had a vision of a fantasy shoot. Then one day Madison was holding a piece of cabbage on a stick (for our chickens) and it looked just like a giant lolli pop and it all hit me! So with an addiiton of a friends green chair we came up with this

If anyone would like to take over this dress let me know! I’m selling the dress and hat for what I paid on ebay. The total cost with shipping for the dress is $20 and the hat is an add on for $6.
Measurements: Bust 32″ Waist 20″ stretches to 26″ Hips full Bodice Length 12″ Skirt Length 17 1/4 “

I’ve got so much to share! Lately I’ve been posting pictures on facebook because it’s so much easier and less time consuming. My wordpress blog takes FOREVER to upload a single picture, it’s so irritating and pushes my patience every time I blog. I may take some time tomorrow to list a ton of blog posts (spacing them by a day or two) that way I have something to share without the daily work!
Here’s a gorgeous family I recently photographed … loved the colors!

I met the funniest group of ladies last week! It was a ball, I shot for three hours straight and the entire time we kept the mood up and the kids pumped. Some were happier then others, but all in all I think we had a very successful shoot. Beth was an amazing hostess, treating her guests to yummy snacks and hot coffee … and her home was awesome!! Both Beth and I were on the same page as far as styling went for the shoot, she had amazing clothes on hand (I wish we were best buds so I could pick through her daughters closet) and of course we had a lot of fun kids with spunky attitudes.
Here is a very small sneak

I was going to post a group posting of pictures of all my lovely little girls I’ve photographed lately but I decided to tease you a bit! Plus, this way I have a blog post for everyday! Plus each girl really should have the spot light on them, each girl rocked their shoot and it’s no wonder each of these girls does modeling professionally. They are all at such ease in front of the camera and they love to have fun!

I’ve been itching to do a mini photo project just for myself, something to express myself and let my creativeness go wild. It all just kinda came together, I tried not to over think a single piece to the collection and while I’m not completely done I am happy with the first two shoots that were captured so far. Thanks to Madison and Kailee for being such awesome models and allowing me to dress them up like little dolls.

All before noon I photographed these amazing girls! Talk about fun, its really not work when you’re playing dress up and then dancing in front of the camera. I never have studio lights set up at my house but because of a personal project I’ve been working on I had to set up a backdrop and lights so I thought I’d kill two birds with one stone and offer mini head shot sessions. Turned out fun!

Our awesome neighbors just had a baby girl and one of our favorite neighborhood boys became a big brother. At dinner tonight we asked him how it was having a little sister and his response was “ah it’s ok” LOL Like Joe said, newborns can’t do much at this stage so they aren’t very exciting. This little sweetie is gorgeous, a blondie just like her mommy and she has perfect complexion.

the rain had rescheduled our shoot once but we were not going to let it damper our second shot at a shoot. The day started off gorgeous, but literally 20 minutes before our shoot it started to rain and it continued to rain throughout the entire shoot. Luckily the location we chose had some coverage and we were able to get a mix of non wet photos and dancing in the rain photos. These kids were terrific!! They came in their favorite clothes, these girls are Matilda Jane junkies. They probably have half of the collection!! If you’re interested in the cute clothes they are sporting drop me an email and I’ll point you in the right direction to find out about ordering.
