Last week I got to shoot one of my favorite models for the Matilda Jane adult line, Nancy is the ultimate super star in front of the camera, so comfortable and soooo willing to do whatever I ask her … even when it means getting really dirty, laying in something super scary or jumping up and down repeatedly even if she felt like a dork … gotta love her!!! She also has the most amazing smile, it’s just so beautiful and sweet. We had loads of laughs during the shoot, even if everything we had was covered in sand and dirt by the time we left … oh and our kids … we’re so filthy!!!!

I got a black petti from Belle Ame last week, she’s marketing them to seniors now and I think it’s such an awesome idea! Thanks to Tara for giving me a mini “how to” lesson on the phone about softbox lighting, this session went really well and I was so happy with the overall look … thanks Tara!!!
Then we headed out for some on location shooting
and yes she is way to hot for her own good! LOL

My friend Maria (and C0-creator Kim Rowe) have started a wonderful series called Go Live Give, I got a first hand peek at their first show and I’m really excited to share it. Maria is in such her element, she’s naturally an out going and vibrant person and her enthusiasm is infectious!! Since I’ve known Maria she has always been an advocate for going green … even before (dare I say it) it was trendy, she has always spoken up on the need to recycle, use natural products and resources. Maria has also always been an avid volunteer for many organizations and she’s traveled for many causes. Too simply put it … she’s amazing!
Go Live Give showcases some posh amenities, fun activities, amazing food and a fun way to give back … all while on vacation!
Isn’t she just the cutest little butter nubbers ever!! All she needs is a wand and crown to complete this fairy tale picture. Tasha from Bella Ame created these adorable little petticoats for infants and they are seriously so freakin cute!
I’ve got some other goodies from my last shoot with Keeley so I’ll post those on Monday. BTW, has anyone noticed I’ve been exceptional about keeping up my blog … it’s pretty amazing since I can’t seem to EVER keep up on email, nor can I organize my life one bit … but somehow I’ve managed to blog just about everyday! I’ve decided weekends are freebies so I only get bonus points if I blog on a Saturday or Sunday.

I hope everyone is having a very loving and Happy Valentine’s Day and that life is treating you well! I’m having a wonderful day myself! I’ve got tea with the girls and followed by that I’ll be hitting two school parties … fun fun fun! I thought I’d quickly post some shots from this weeks sessions, more to follow in the next day or two. Random, but these girls who were photographed on the same day have such similar names … Kenley and Keeley (which makes me think of Key lime pie!) Up first is Kenley

I returned back to my fav spot of the moment … the alley … although my husband says I can’t shoot there again for sometime as he says it’s getting boring! He doesn’t realize the amazing light that comes through in this alley! Mini Session … look at the magic we captured in 30 minutes!
Such fun … thanks guys!

I had the pleasure of photographing a new little girl this weekend and she was such a sweetie! I met her at Madison’s school … no, I don’t make it a point to scout out kids while I drop off and pick up Madison but this little girl was just so hard not to notice. I was swinging Madison on the swings and I looked down and there she was … dressed like the best baby gap girl I’d ever seen and she was glowing from ear to ear with this gorgeous smile .. at me! So how was I not to notice her!?!

Two of my favorite girls in one picture … what could be better! Madison just adores her cousin Megan, we like to call her the third child we never had (we just had her first!) she fits into our little mold so well and she looks just like my kids so it’s easy to pass her off as ours!
Hey Everyone, I'm Shannon Stewart the photographer behind Madison Ave Photography. Thanks for stopping by Pearblossom, my online Blog. Take a look around and check out recent sessions, new ideas, family posts and much more awesome stuff!
