Pear Blossom

This weekend I got together with sweet little Emily to photograph her one year old pictures.  When her mom called me she raved about Emily’s sweet personality, she’s quite a special little girl so I was very excited to get to meet her.  The moment I met her she was blowing kisses, waving, smiling and engaging everyone around her.  Ususally it takes a good 10 minutes for a child to warm up to me and my big ole camera … but not in this case.   Here she is at the beginning of our shoot 

After some fun running around we headed over to another alley to get some portraits of her … these pictures of her are so dreamy … I’m in love with her big gorgeous eyes! 

Isn’t it amazing when a family grows, from one baby to two and so on and so on.  I remember when we brought Madison home, the energy in the house totally changed in such amazing ways … as a family we grew closer and everyone’s roles changed in a small bit … my little boy became a big boy and took on a new role as big brother … which in our house is a very big job! It was great meeting up with The Snyder family, their new addition is so sweet and looks every bit like her brother when he was just two weeks old.                  

I had a fun mini session with siblings Kurt and Keeley this week, both of them are graduating from high shcool this year … Keeley is a superstar and is graduating a year early!   I’m doing a family session with the entire family in just a couple of weeks … so excited about that!!  Wait until you see her super gorgeous (and sooooo sweet) Mom … I’m making her blush now!  LOL                thanks guys! 

Madison and I were at the park this past weekend and while there we saw some dandelions, Madison made a mad rush to them and grabbed the first one she could get her hot little hands on.  I reminded her to make a wish … she paused and then said … I wish to be a mom … in the cutest softest little voice ever!     I know Madison is going to be an amazing mom, she already takes such good care of her little dolls and doggies … she even loves to parent her older brother (which does not always make him happy) hee hee  She always tells me that she is going to have 5 kids and that I *GET* to take care of them while she is at work and the biggest plus of it all … I get to also bring her lunch everyday.  Don’t you just love kids!!  She brings the biggest smile to my face    

This weekend I met up with Juno and Sam to do some maternity pictures of them, the session was so much fun and this couple is soooooo sweet!  They are both such beautiful people and have such adorable smiles and the best attitudes … all great elements for any photo shoot!    

When you arrive to a photo shoot and your client is wearing these heels you know you’re in for some fun!    

We continued with the outfit changes (which I love to do)   

Juno slipped into something a little more dressy                         

So my sweet little baby (big boy I mean) got a nasty fat lip this weekend while playing baseball!  One of his friends threw him the ball and Anthony never saw it coming, needless to say he dropped to the floor like a 2×4 hit him … my adrenaline was pumping while I tried figuring out where he got hit, where the blood was coming from and then doing the mouth evaluation to make sure no teeth were out of place or loose.  Happy to say he was OK, just in major pain and in need of an ice pack.  20 minutes later he was back out on the field, with the fattest lip I have ever seen on a child. 

Any good parent knows I had to document it … someday he’ll want to hear about his first fat lip :) 

I’m a total sucker for hats on Madison and since her hair has been wild lately this was a good opportunity to tame the beast!    This cute little number is made by Eden’s Bouquet … I love this skirt, it’s so charming and sophisticated.  

   Something I certainly cannot take credit for in Madison is her gracefulness … she dances so ever lightly on her tippie toes and sways to her own melody in her head.  I always had a tendency to fall, trip, hit and spill things … I didn’t sway, I stumbled   

Eden’s Bouquet … new stuff … oh so good!    

I found these great little butterflies from Paper Source and glued them to some ribbon … they make the perfect hair accessory!   

Here she is … just one month old and full of adorableness!!  Scarlett has two of the sweetest parents ever, they are both so warm and sweet!  

This session went off without a hitch and I even managed to photograph Scarlett naked with no accidents … that never happens!    

I found this cute little knitted hat in Scarlett’s drawer and knew I had to use it   

Do you think Kenley is trying to discretley give me a message …  

Maybe something on the lines of “take this you big dark round camera thingy, you’re no match for this duo” … ya think ???  It would appear she is even trying to get her newest little cousin Scarlett in on the action!
