How does the baby in our family become six so quickly? With Madison being our youngest I have really held onto these toddler years for as long as possible. When my son was this age I remember having the feeling of “I cant’ wait until he …” always looking forward to the next stage, but with Madison I’ve always been perfectly content with the stage we’re at and I’ve never wanted to rush a single day.
Madison turning 6 was a great milestone, she started kindergarten, grew two shoe sizes (which she had never done), played soccer for the first time, played basketball and adopted a baby chick. On each of our birthdays we take a minute at dinner to share with the Birthday girl/boy something special we think of them and we all take a turn. It’s so cute to do it to kids because they feel so good about themselves while you do it. Some of the great things we shared … she has the most beautiful smile, her gorgeous freckles, her singing and dancing talents, her sense of humor, her stylish attitude and best of all … her huge heart! She’s a sweetie and we adore her!!!
Since she turned 6 she got to choose her birthday picture theme and this year it was GLAMOUROUS. She wanted to feel fancy and pretty. Easy enough!

the only word that comes to mind when I see these pictures are … butter nubers

I’m catching up! Slowly but surely, email is still a mess and if you haven’t heard from me (and you’re my friend) then please know it’s not personal
I’ve just been busy with Madison’s Birthday, shoots and working on some extra projects with a friend. On one good note my house has been staying clean! I’ve been on a personal mission to balance myself more at home and get organized. It’s so easy for me to get caught up in school, homework, sports and then work … most of the time I feel like I’m running on empty. However the last month has been all about balance. It’s been nice
I got this button down shirt for Anthony and decided to use it for the shoot … I like it paired with a knit sweater.

One of my favorite subjects to photograph are these two kiddos. Every time I photograph them I get such true emotions, completely how they are feeling at the moment … no fake smiles. They are both incredibly sweet and loving. I also think they have some of the cutest smiles ever! Their mommy and I share a love for clothes, I adore the pink docs in these pictures … I’m on the hunt for a pair for Mads.

All that comes to mind when I see these pictures is HAPPY! No matter what, Meghan was always smiling and keeping things very light and fun. Juggling three girls under the age of 5 is no easy job, adding in the task of getting them all in a picture and you’ve got some fun times
Meghan’s positive attitude and easy going nature really helped deliver some very special and fun pictures. Everyone involved worked so hard to keep the girls happy, content and all in one place. Hopefully they all took a nap after the shoot, I know they all deserved it!

The baby had fallen face first on the sidewalk right before this shot. Once she was OK we went back to shooting, poor little baby hit hard!

Unfortunately she needed more time to rest, as you can see she’s still a wee bit upset and the girls are pretty much over it … I just love how Meghan is still laughing and being light hearted about the whole thing. Her and Devon rock in this photo!

A little break and the girls are ready to go!

It’s time to share some images from the GYPSY BLUE line from MATILDA JANE CLOTHING. I had so much fun on this shoot, I had the opportunity to work with some super sweet girls and we had a blast! Lots of laughing and giggling. I have a whole other set of images to share as well with some of my other girls, I’ll try and get them posted on Friday.

I haven’t modeled Madison in quite sometime. It’s been too long actually. I just tell her to go and she just moves, shakes, scrunches her cute little nose, dances and works the clothes. She looked particularly cute in these cakewalk outfits from Dragonflies and Ladybugs.

I found my dream coat for the season! Madison looks so yummy in this coat and it’s so warm, so cozy and the hood is gorgeous! I believe (like shoes) you should always buy at least one rockin jacket per season, a splurge if you will. Anthony’s jacket this year came from Abercrombie and it was not cheap, I won’t drop the digits because I don’t want my hubby to faint but I felt like it was an investment … it will last him all season.
So this year we got our coat from Robyn over at Dragonflies and Ladybugs. It’s Deux Par Deux and worth every penny!!!!!!!!!!!!!
