Pear Blossom

This shoot was so much fun!  When Juno and I talked about ideas for her shoot I knew it was going to be smashing.   When she arrived she had on the most gorgeous red dress, she looked so graceful and beautiful.  Juno and Sam have a beautiful connection and their happiness and upbeat personality glows through their son.  He was happy the entire time (minus an outfit change) so alert and content. I’m so excited for them, they have a perfect little family and I can’t wait to continue photographing them throughout their special days.  Expect to see this little cutie soon, we will be shooting his 100th day celebration!   

I had the supreme pleasure of photographing the Roah family, my first family since being back from vacation!  I was so honored and excited to be asked by a fellow photographer, Lisa is the sweetest thing EVER … and to boot she’s got three lucky guys who love her insanely!  I have to say, this shoot was so much fun, maybe it was the fact that Lisa herself is a photographer, maybe it’s that she came with no expectations and gave me free range, or that they are the happiest family … or maybe it’s the common love we both have for Houston’s … whatever the case may be we hit it off and went running like wild monkeys! 

When I was going through her images one major component kept jumping out to me … the entire family connected so well,  loved each other so much and really allowed me to capture their moments.  Thanks Lisa and Mark … and the boys … you guys were the best!  HUGE props go out to Mark for being such an awesome husband, he was so happy for Lisa to have this shoot (since she’s normally behind the camera) and he was a total trooper the entire time! 

The best kisses come from mommy (at least that’s what I’ve heard)  

Can  you imagine having three babies at one time … and only have two arms!  LOL It’s crazy, madness and yet so much fun!  When I got a call from Cindy about photographing her triplets I was so excited, this session was a first for me and my head started spinning with ideas.  The babies were all so amazing the entire time, they were content and happy and even with stood our outfit changes and everything!  We shared a lot of laughs during the shoot and lots of adorable moments.  I had Kelly (baby handling master) come and join me for the shoot … this way we had extra hands for all three babies and OMG was it helpful!   Thanks Kelly :) 

Ok onto these little beauties … the funniest thing was each one of them was a different size, like small, medium and large

This sweet little family is for some fun, a 2 year old and twin babies … a boy and a girl … how perfect is that!?!   Kelly assisted me on this shoot which was awesome because not only does she make a great partner in crime but she also makes for a great baby holder, an awesome bubble blower and she also dabbles in sing a longs!   Whew … thanks Kelly!

The fam and myself are in Big Bear this week, sucking up some rays, doing a little fishing/hiking and hitting the local bowling alley … have I told you guys how much we love to bowl?  I totally suck, like really badly …. Madison even beats me but I still keeping going back!     

Alright so I’m back on the band wagon for keeping up with my blog, over the next three days I’ve got tons to share … then next week I will be launching my new website … so lots of work this week for me :) First up is an awesome family I’ve known for quite some time, our kids have gone to the same school over the last couple of years and I’ve also had the pleasure of photography Keeley for modeling projects.

Remember when I told you about how gorgeous her mom was (well the entire family for that matter) well now you have proof of how beautiful she is (inside and out!) …  

We had some amazing shots of just Valerie and her husband … a nice intimate session with the two!

Isn’t it amazing when a family grows, from one baby to two and so on and so on.  I remember when we brought Madison home, the energy in the house totally changed in such amazing ways … as a family we grew closer and everyone’s roles changed in a small bit … my little boy became a big boy and took on a new role as big brother … which in our house is a very big job! It was great meeting up with The Snyder family, their new addition is so sweet and looks every bit like her brother when he was just two weeks old.                  

Sometimes we have to steal away for a kiss or cuddle … just to feel our mommies love  

Mother’s Day is almost here and what a great time to set aside some special time to capture those tender moments with your kids.   What a great present to a loving wife … hint hint guys … Mom will LOVE being spoiled in an “all about me” session featuring her favorite kiddos in the world!    

Moments like these are just too good to pass up

So this week I had the opportunity to meet a wonderful family who were visiting from TN, they were staying at the Grand Californian so I traveled down there and did a little photo shoot.  All three of the kids were sweeties, each with very fun and different personalities.  Mandy and I have known each other through ebay for quite some time and it was really awesome to have her ask me to come down, I was very honored to visit with them … next time I’ll bring Mads and we’ll make it a social event!
