All before noon I photographed these amazing girls! Talk about fun, its really not work when you’re playing dress up and then dancing in front of the camera. I never have studio lights set up at my house but because of a personal project I’ve been working on I had to set up a backdrop and lights so I thought I’d kill two birds with one stone and offer mini head shot sessions. Turned out fun!

I took a mini blog vacation to get caught up on some stuff and finish some projects I had been working on. I’ve got some fun sessions coming up this week, hoping to dodge the rain. I love the rain but it works nightmares on my shooting schedule! I had an amazing headshot session this weekend, love this little girl and her super sweet and soft personality.
I’m working on a photo shoot just for myself, something that inspires me and gets me excited to shoot. I’ve been collecting and searching for lots of fur pieces and I love this hat I found on ebay. It’s a vintage fur pill hat.

Can you believe these two are just half the cuteness in this family … four adorable little girls who have the most amazing eyes! Their older twin siblings didn’t make it for this shoot, instead it was all about the little ones. We had a lot of fun, I had to bring Madison to the shoot because she was home from school. Having Madison with me is always an extra challenge, just because she’s not the main focus of the shoot all of sudden she wants to be in every photo! I had to compromise with her on how many she could jump in for. She is a lot of help in making the kids smile and keeping the mood really up which allows me to capture real moments vs forced smiles. So there are pros and cons.

I know so many pregnant women! Soon there will be lots of little babies floating around my various circles of friends. My neighbor was so gracious and made Madison the most awesome birthday cake for our farm theme party. She pulled off all the details and the cake was the center of the party decor. I love her for it and to repay her for her cake duties I shot maternity pictures of her. We did a mini session in her home. I tried to mix in romantic, intimate, classic and elegant.
